Description
Native to Marrakech, Morocco, is an ancient limestone plastering technique and material. Meaning “massage” or “rub” in Arabic, tadelakt is prized for its smooth surface and subtle sheen, and has been used for centuries to coat the walls and baths of traditional Hammams and Moroccan homes.
Moroccan artisans use tadelakt to hand-craft these simple, highly polished vases. We designed these to be perfect for arranging flowers and branches, , or with or without a . This is not waterproof. Best to insert a water tight container if using for fresh flowers.
